I wasn’t introduced to his work until I was in my late 30s. The stories are enchanting and his treatment of the characters – notably the young heroines – is refreshing and powerful. But mostly, it’s because I identify with the Radish Spirit!
I hope you’ve seen a few more by now and enjoyed them immensely.
