I think when you start young it encourages self worth and confidence. My son will be growing up in a very non diverse community and it worries me all the time. I need to make sure I am exposing him not only to different cultures but also different ways people live and making sure he grows up to be an accepting and kind human to everyone. I love that you have open conversations with your children no matter what age they are!
