I have to agree, I’ve been there as well. Noise is Noise at the end of the day.

i have been in business class, sometimes the adults arent so quiet either, i heard some executive yelling into his phone about some issue to whom i presume was his assistant or something like that ….. or the time when i seated near some business women who were having a grand old time (this was a late evening friday train, heading to london, so probably enjoying that it was end of the workweek or day)

Hi C.K everyone’s entitled to their opinion, but everyone, including parents pay for that extra comfort. We had no crying at all during our 4.5 hour trip both ways and she never walked the aisles. If parents are paying for the kids to travel on business/first class, they’re entitled to it just as much as the person who’s yapping on a cell phone the entire way. Whether you’re travelling by air or train I firmly believe that kids should be allowed anywhere an adult is. Quiet cars are options ofcourse and definitely see the merit in them but the entire Business/First should never be restricted against kids. I fly first class often with our little one and we pay the extra for the additional comfort. Options should exist for the comfort of everyone. My hubby brings on noise cancelling headsets for journeys when he doesn’t want to listen to others talking or kids blabbing.

I pay the extra for business class to get away from crying babies and misbehaved children. I’m not saying yours was doing this by any means, I’m just saying in general, nowadays, parents let their kids run wild etc… and babies shouldn’t be in First Class/Business Class. Just my opinion. The Go Train has the quiet section now, Via should offer an all adult car/quiet car for those who pay good money for a peaceful ride.
