I’m a city kid having grown up in Dubai, Karachi and Manama (Bahrain) and of course now living in Toronto. When we travel we love our beach getaways but also love being close to cities and so when Skyscanner asked us our tips for city travels with kids, we were thrilled! As you know, we used Skyscanner and saved a lot of money on our flight tickets to Sri Lanka, and so if you’re looking for flight deals definitely start there. Skyscanner does not sell flights, hotels or car rentals directly; instead, the free to use website shows you the best deals for your route (or hotels for your dates) and you then buy tickets (hotel rooms/car rentals) directly from the source (be it the airline, hotel, or a site like Flight hub or Expedia). Some great savings can be found through their site and I must admit that I scour many sites before we make our purchases and Skyscanner consistently delivers the best snapshots when I’m looking for flight deals!
We’re staying local and exploring our city this weekend and wishing you all a very happy Friday! Here’s some pictures we’ve taken during a Saturday stroller around the downtown core! Playgrounds, street art and street food awaits!
