The ups and pillage

Oh dear. Oh me. So I’ve been telling you what a fab time we had in Austin and shared all the foodie gems we discovered. What I failed to mention…was…umm… the lack of exercise that week …and well.. ok . FINE. I’ll admit it. The week leading up to the week away as well. There.  Okay.. I didn’t work out for about 14 days. *phew!*

So those ups and downs we’ve been having with the weightloss challenge (click here for the last update) has been nothing but UP. The weight is piling up. The inches are moulding themselves on.  I’ve been very careless with my diet, eating whatever I come across… including many a sweet. I will say that first work out after the mini workout vacation did feel pretty awesome! I was pumped for bootcamp  and pretty excited to join the  ladies on the oldies (music not the ladies!)  Zumba circuit.

I snuck in few workouts before my monthly weigh-in  all in the hopes of shedding some of that extra weight (hey I was  back to wearing the flowy pregnancy dresses so I KNEW there’d be some pretty bad numbers). However I definitely did not think it would  be this bad. I’m now bigger in certain areas than when  I joined the gym three months ago!! Can you  believe it? Absolutely ridiculous. Seriously? WTF!?!

Oh well.. so there you see the numbers.  I’m not even going to calculate the Curves inches. Forget that. This is my  main issue I oscillate a lot and that’s what I’m trying to control. I’m going to get  back on the Curves complete diet (well atleast adhere to the guidelines) and ensure I eat well and avoid the one too many margaritas. Wish me luck!

Great timing because Curves downtown is having another one of their fabulous internal competitions. I’ve signed up for the chance to be crowned a queen…. yeah I have my own crown. Every time you work out you  get to decorate your crown and working out atleast three times a week makes you eligible to participate! I love the little arts and crafts option they’ve woven in!  So stay tuned for next month’s update. I promise I’ll strive to loose a couple inches for you! ‘Cause you know… I  can’t eat and drink my way back to my pregnancy weight! No excuse of a baby inside of me this  time!
