Dora The Explorer LIVE | Giveaway

dora the explorer, dora the city of lost toys, dora tickets giveaway, dora contestDora is very popular in our house and we were thrilled when Koba Entertainment invited us to meet Dora The Explorer LIVE at Casa Loma a couple weeks ago. I knew the Little Monkey would be thrilled to meet one of her favourite characters so despite flying solo that day and the daunting 109 stairs ahead of us, we made the trek. She got to briefly meet Dora (we were late – totally our fault!!) and even threw a bit of a  tantrum when it was time to leave. Clearly she needs more Dora time.

As I’m sure many of you have heard that Dora is touring around Canada and she will be searching for the City of Lost Toys in Toronto as well! This 70-minute live theatrical production invites families to think, sing and play along.  I for one find Dora to be an engaging cartoon that actually gets the Little Monkey thinking and learning new words which is not something I can say for ALL the shows she watches. Being a traveller at heart I love how Dora is designed to teach kids to explore, overcome obstacles, solve puzzles and discover a diverse and exciting world – all while having a lot of fun! It’s been a while since we’ve taken her to a full one hour show but I think she’s going to love it! Best part is that the show is designed for kids aged 2-5 which means that everyone can be comfortable.

P.s – On October 20th from 10 a.m to 3 p.m, Nickelodeon is bringing the Dora Exploratorium – Toronto’s first-ever Dora the Explorer pop-up event – to Smock Cafe in Roncesvalles. The event is open to the public and children between the ages of 2 to 5 years old and their parents can take part in interactive activities specifically designed to promote bonding moments. Though please note that Dora herself won’t be in attendance (she is touring through Canada obviously!!) but there will be lots of Dora toys and activities.
