The Viral K-Beauty Layover Pop-Up Is Back in Toronto 2026

If you love discovering new skincare, scoring serious deals and walking away with a bag full of goodies then you’re going to want this Toronto K Beauty event on your radar. By this point I am sure you’re well aware that K-Beauty stands for Korean Beauty and that these products are quite supreme when it comes to quality and variety to address every possible skin care need you may have. And if you’re wondering, yes I am wearing a Sungboon face mask whilst writing this article!

The K-Beauty Layover Pop-Up is officially returning to Toronto this May and after attending last year, I can confidently say that it’s worth the hype (and yes, even the lineup). Go RSVP to secure some surprises. Entry to this event is TOTALLY FREE and you pay for what you want purchase (and possibly score some Toronto freebies as well).

What Is the K-Beauty Layover Pop-Up?

Hosted by Juston from myskinisglass  (who has flawless skin and I want ALL their recommendations), kbeautymuse and bemusedkorea, this is a large-scale, multi-brand K-beauty pop-up and it transforms a simple shopping trip into a full-on experience. You can chat with brand owners or representatives and figure out if the product might be right for you. Most times you can sample the product on site and score some crazy good offers as well.

Last year’s Toronto pop up was very colourful and engaging so I expect this year you’ll also find a curated mix of viral favourites, new launches and under-the-radar gems from 15+ Korean beauty brands. It’s the kind of place where you go in curious and leave with a whole new skincare routine.

My Experience Last Year

We are in Toronto so yes there was a line to get in because it is a popular event. But once inside? Totally worth the wait!

There were multiple interactive stations, fun games and so many opportunities to win prizes. It didn’t feel like a typical shopping event, instead it felt more like a beauty playground.

I also loved that I got to actually discover new products instead of just seeing them online. A few of my now go-to skincare staples? I found them here.

What to Expect This Year

It’s very much a shop + play + discover kind of vibe.

Important Tips Before You Go

Come prepared, this isn’t a quick in-and-out stop.

  • There will likely be a lineup, so dress for the weather and bring sun protection
  • RSVP ahead of time for a free “Play & Win” game but remember, entry is still first come, first served
  • No food or drinks are allowed inside
  • Arrive early if you’re aiming for the daily bonus boxes or best product selection
  • Products may sell out so you want to go in on the first days BUT know that the last day may have some crazy deals as vendors don’t want to carry any product back with them

Is It Worth It?

Short answer: yes.

If you’re into skincare (even if you don’t know much like me!!) this is one of those events that’s genuinely fun and educational. You’ll discover new brands, test products in person and likely leave with way more than you planned (in the best way). The KEYTH sunscreen is now one of my all time faves. I love the NE:AR apple cider and collagen tablets and don’t even get me started on the Medicube creams!

And if you’re anything like me, you might just find your next holy grail product.
