Guys the countdown is oh so TOTALLY ON!! Not just for Christmas but for an entire week of doing nothing. Just sitting on my parents couch and not working or writing (okay…maybe SOME writing) and most definitely not worrying about the little ones. The Christmas holidays have always been the one time of the year where I can truly veg out and whether I’m spending it with my parents or the hubs’ parents, it always means living in PJs and watching TV while stuffing our faces with deliciousness that the moms cook up. The kids are eager to watch their regular shows such as Dora, Baby Jake and Blues Clues and the hubs and I are currently hooked on Suits and Master of None. Seriously, watch Master of None if you have twenty minutes to spare. It’s a great series featuring stand up comedian Aziz Ansari, his parents and his friends (also written by his brother!) that touches on serious topics like sex, race and modern day life in a light hearted but poignant manner. I’ll be spending the holidays eating baked goodies ( how good do these Triple Chocolate Sour Cream Cookies look?) and introducing the kids to some of these holiday movies on Netflix.
