We’ve had Shopkins mania at our house for over 2 years now and during our 148 day journey Little Monkey only had Shopkins with her for entertainment beyond her ipad. So, needless to say, when a friend told me about Shopkins Live! taking place in Toronto next week, I was all over that. The team at Koba Entertainment has generously invited us and one other lucky family to come see the live event. Read on below for a chance to win a family pack of tickets for the April 28th 1:00 p.m. show taking place at the Sony Centre in downtown Toronto!
As you may recall we have taken the kids to live shows before and they love it. However we haven’t been to one since our return from our full time travels and I’m curious to see if Little Monkey will still be a fan. At 6 years old she’s taking an interest in more mature shows and 4 year old Baby Boy is all about live action movies. When I told them about the show they were super excited so I bet they’re going to be very giddy with excitement after the show.
In Shopkins Live! Shop It Up! the beloved Shoppies make their theatrical debut in an original new live show featuring musical performances by Jessicake, Bubbleisha, Peppa-Mint, Rainbow Kate, Cocolette, Polli Polish and more! The fun and fashionista Shoppies are joined by the Shopkins – the grocery store-themed mini collectable toys – Apple Blossom, Strawberry Kiss, Lippy Lips, Kooky Cookie, Poppy Corn, Slick Breadstick and Shady Diva. An ensemble cast of multi-talented performers brings the show to life on stage through urban style music, song and dance.
The Shopkins are touring through Canada and there are a couple 90 minute shows taking place in Toronto. The Sony Centre is still my favourite venue for live shows with kids so I’m thrilled to hear that Shopkins Live! is performing there on April 28th. I haven’t taken the kids to the Toronto Centre for the Arts but there are two shows there on April 25th and we may check one out. If you’re in Peterborough or Niagara Falls, there are shows there too.
