Slammers Snacks by Kids Gourmet | Holiday Gift Guide Giveaway

As many of you know I have relied on Baby Gourmet to help me keep the little ones fed during our travels and when I’m in a jam and don’t have anything handy to feed Baby Boy and Little Monkey. The same folks have now launched Slammers Snacks, a new line of Super Food snacks created as fuel for kids. Baby Gourmet is for the babies who are just starting their foodie journey, Squoosh was targeting the pre-schoolers and now Slammers is for school aged kids. Guess what? My kids may not be school aged but they’re loving the Slammers samples we received and we’re giving away two cases (48 pouches!) for one lucky winner.

What I like about the Slammers range is that they’re organic, healthy and delicious (yes I’ve tasted them!). I also like the fact that they incorporate fruits and veggies that aren’t easily accessible or easy to cook- acai, amaranth, yumberry and even beets. Slammers’ on-the-go pouches are organic and have just launched in Canada this week. You can find them at Loblaws, Real Canadian Superstore, and Well.ca.

There’s four flavours :

EPIC – mangoes, bananas, oranges, carrots, Greek yogurt & real vanilla
AWESOME – bananas, blueberries, strawberries, beets, acai, amaranth (a highly nutritious gluten-free grain)
CHILL’N – bananas, blueberries, butternut squash, Greek yogurt & yumberry
PUMPED – bananas, pineapple, mangoes, ancient grains, butternut squash, cinnamon

Baby Boy is the one who has been enjoying these most and Little Monkey only likes the AWESOME one because it’s pink! Yup… she’s superficial like that. Slammers, just like all Baby Gourmet packs are easy to travel with and makes feeding little ones easy. I rely on them heavily during our travels and my purse and hand luggage are ALWAYS stocked with some of these.
