Wizard World Fun in Toronto

Wizard World Fun Park is deemed as southern Ontario’s best indoor March Break family fun park  and has locations in Toronto and Hamilton. They opened at the Better Living Centre yesterday (March 10th) and goes till March 16th. The good folks had sent us a great goodie bucket along with tickets to Wizard World so we made a family trip out with the Little Monkey, my mom, my brother and the hubs. Given the great weather we had, it was indeed a treat to be outside (and then indoors whilst at Wizard World). The fun team at Wizard world has given me a family pass for one of my readers!

On arrival we soon noticed that there were no Wizards but instead there was a giant Elmo much to the Little Monkey’s delight! There were over 20 rides and inflatables, an arts and crafts zone, petting zoo and all sorts of entertainment to drain the energy of tiny tots (they had a toddler area) and adults alike. You can even ride an elephant (costs $8)! There were some rides that looked like fun for me, toddlers won’t be able to go on most rides, but there’s lots of bouncy castle activities and a dedicated toy area. If my sister in law had joined us as originally planned, I’m sure I’d have taken a spin on most of the rides on offer!

The Little Monkey loved watching the Xtreme Wild animal show with live lions, zebra, wolves, leopards, and the most active Elephant I’ve ever seen, presented by the Bowmanville Zoo. The sound system/acoustics made it difficult for us to hear what was being said, but the little ones didn’t notice one bit. (update : Since this post was written we have learned about the lack of care for these animals and suggestion avoiding the animal section in the future).
The place is super stroller friendly and there were no line ups for anything, atleast not when we went on Sunday afternoon. Food options are standard with your Pizza Pizza and popcorn, if you’re with a picky eater, perhaps pack some snacks?
Tickets are available online and in person at the box office. Toddlers (under 2) are free, adult admissions are relatively cheap at less than $8 and kids can either buy tickets for rides or get an all day pass for $25. All in all a great deal I must say! Wizard world also takes place in Hamilton so be sure to check it out, if you’re looking for some entertainment this week. One lucky family will get a pass to Wizard World… contest is only for 24 hours so you can get your lovely butts there this week!

My girs are 8 and 3 (almost 4), is it worth it to get unlimited rides?
Are there very many rides my 3y old can use?
    Thx!
