I’ve been talking about Christmas and the holiday season for a couple weeks now and while I haven’t received the official approval from the hubs to get the tree and decorations up, I have started thinking about the gifts for those on my naughty and nice list! Being huge fans of our RBC Avion credit card (comes with awesome travel perks!) you may recall that last year we shared our holiday shopping experience as an Avioner and I’m thrilled to share that we’ll be able to do the same this year as well (and so can you!)! There simply is no better way to shop during the holidays, than the Avioner way!
Disclosure: I am part of the RBC Avion Holiday Boutique Influencer Campaign and I receive special perks as part of my affiliation with this group. The opinions on this blog, as always, are totally mine!
RBC Avion cardholders in the Toronto area will once again be able to experience a fabulous shopping experience at the Yorkdale mall. The RBC Avion Holiday Boutique is a unique and exclusive program designed to enhance the holiday shopping experience for Avioners by making us feel special and cared for. Those in Burnaby, BC will also be able to enjoy a RBC Avion Boutique (November 27 until December 31, 2015) and RBC Avion Experiences will also be open at the Halifax Shopping Centre and in Ottawa at the St. Laurent Centre (November 27 until December 24th).
So what does my shopping experience look like as an Avioner? Why I thought you’d never ask! I roll up to the Yorkdale mall with kids in tow, hand off our vehicle at the complimentary valet station (nopes! Don’t need to circle for a parking spot!) and then check in at the RBC Avion Holiday Boutique where I pass off my jacket and then grab a free coffee and cookie before I visit the many shops at the Yorkdale mall. The beauty of this experience is that I can return to the RBC Avion Holiday Boutique whenever I want and drop off my shopping bags at the coat and parcel check station OR have the lovely elves wrap my gifts for me (at no extra charge!!!). As you may know, I’m absolutely rubbish when it comes to wrapping and so this is one service I desperately need!
Oh and for us app crazed folks, the Avion Passport App allows Avioners the chance to register our gifts to be wrapped on the app and receive ongoing updates on when they’ll be completed. Unlike last year, we won’t need to wait in line ups to drop our gifts off! Totally BRILL!
I find that I can shop for an hour at a time before I get tired and this is where those comfy white couches, free phone charging stations and the soothing tunes of the piano come to play. Avioners can unwind at the Boutique and recharge before hitting the shops again. Last year the kids loved the cookies and oranges they received when we popped in (with our double stroller!!) and this year they will also have access to a small library with books to keep them occupied. Nice touch RBC!
I love that RBC really thought about the little Avioners this year, not only do they enter the Boutique for free (each RBC Avion card gives access to two adults), they have the mini library at the Yorkdale Avion Holiday Boutique and RBC has generously donated gifts to the SickKids hospital to spread the holiday cheer to some well deserving children. LOVE!LOVE!LOVE!
I’ve started my shopping… hard not to when I have the luxury of being an Avioner! How about you…have you started shopping?
