We recently checked out the International Garden Festival that is taking place between April and October 2017 in Berlin. Unsure what to expect, especially since we aren’t into horticulture, we discovered that families have plenty to explore! If you’re visiting Berlin before October 15 2017 and have a day on hand, it is a nice spot to let the kids run amock, take in some live music and enjoy the outdoors.
IGA Berlin is a bit outside the city but the subway stop is right across the street, making it very easy to get there. We didn’t take our stroller but could have easily done so as the space is VERY stroller friendly (yes, including the Gondola). The kids loved the many playgrounds and I particularly loved the various forests where they could run free and explore. There’s a variety of gardens and flowers to explore and we were able to teach the kids about bees and pollination! Check out our video of IGA Berlin!
