Milk is consumed by the gallon at our place and I have a Baboo baby milk giveaway! When the Little Monkey was an infant we expected the milk consumption but now at nearly two years she still wants milk… like ALL the time. She could guzzle 30 oz a day easily and will often throw a tantrum (rolling on the floor, kicking, screaming… the whole gamut) when we refuse to give into her addiction. Her doctor advised us to cut down her milk consumption to 15 oz a day to ensure that she eats nutritious meals alongside her milk and so we’ve been trying to do that. Two months in and it’s still a struggle but we’re slowly getting better at it (it being ignoring her tantrums! HAH!). Though truth be told, I’ve only noticed a slight change in her appetite when it comes to veggies. Beef, Chicken, Cookies and fruits will still be eaten fairly easily. It’s the veggies we always struggle with. Oh well.. win some. lose more right?
The one place I cave into the milk needs is when we’re out and about. It is easier to give her a pack of milk than it is to have her screaming on the subway and this when I pull out a pack of Baboo. I’ve raved on and on about how much we love the easy travel packs, especially when she turned one and we were travelling. Ofcourse Baboo is for kids up to 2 years and so I now need to find an alternate solution. I hear there’s a Milk Unleashed product in Canada but my issue is the same as with the Baboo, I can rarely find it in downtown Toronto. I tend to stock up when I hit the burbs but given that the shelf life is only 3 months (atleast for the Baboo- and it is one of the qualities I like!) it’s quite challenging. Either ways, it’s one of my favest products.
Right before our Ireland travels I tried to stock up on some Baboo and couldn’t find it anywhere. I emailed their local team and they apologized and sent me some coupons for the 1 L packs. Ofcourse for me, I needed the smaller single formats, not the 1L packs and I told them that and I can’t find the product! What use are the coupons? Le-SIGH. Last minute my local Metro ordered some small packs for me the day I was leaving so we lucked out in Ireland. All that said, I now have 8 coupons on my hand and so I thought I’d give them away… please note that these expire on the 31st of December so they’ll be good for you only if you plan to use them before or stock up on a batch that will expire come March 2014.
