Maple Leaf Monster Jam | Holiday Gift Guide Giveaway

Ever since I came to Toronto (nearly 10 years ago!!) I’ve heard of the big Monster Jam event and I’ve seen friends and colleagues get super pumped about attending the event. Honestly I never had the desire to watch big trucks rally against each other but when I showed the hubs and Little Monkey an invite I received, they both wanted to go. So this year not only are we going to attend the Maple Leaf Monster Jam in Toronto, we’re also giving away four tickets for one lucky family to join us!

Monster Jam takes place through various North American cities and I hear there’s even one in Spain! The Maple Leaf Monster Jam takes place on January 17th and 18th in Toronto at the Rogers Centre. On Saturday the event starts at 7 p.m. and on Sunday it starts at 2 p.m.. My guess is most families with young tots will probably be in attendance on Sunday. We haven’t attended the event and in all honesty, the thought of watching 12 feet tall (and wide!!) trucks race each other, flipping and jumping over 30 feet in the air – FREAKS me out. I’d think that little kids would be freaked out too but my nephew who is the same age as Little Monkey, LOVED attending the show last year. I have a feeling that the rest of my family is going to catch Monster Jam fever as well!

Tickets range from  $20 to $70  and those under 2 years do not need tickets. More details about the Maple Leaf Monster Jam show can be found here and I promise to report back with our experience at the show and how best to navigate the event with little ones. I’m guessing that you may need to get some noise cancelling headsets for the little ones and that the space isn’t very stroller friendly, so baby wearing would be best here.
