Sip and Savour Ontario

I know I’ve been sharing a lot of booze related events lately, but hey… who doesn’t love good food, fine wine and refreshing beers? SO here’s another event that I know you’re going to love! sip & Savour, in its eight year (so you know they’re doing things right!!), will be bringing together some of Toronto’s top chefs and award winning VQA wineries. On October 3rd the Fermenting Cellar at the Distillery District will be the place to be if you love good food and exploring Ontario wines.

Foodies from all over will gather to chat with top celebrity chefs, watch live cooking demos, sample food pairings ( I hear there’s some food trucks popping in too!!) and obviously, this will all be done with a glass ( or 2.. 3.. 4?) of wine in hand. 28 wineries will be at Sip & Savour and there will be no shortage of gourmet pairings crafted by 8 chefs throughout the evening.

Tickets priced at $85 includes unlimited food and wine sampling. What a fabulous way to spend an evening! What’s even better is that not only will you be having a fantabulous evening supporting Ontario’s food and wine producers but you will also be helping raise funds for sip & Savour’s charitable partner Houselink, a non-profit organization that provides a home, community and opportunities for people living with mental illness and at risk of being homeless.

Oh and by the way there’s a Complimentary Shuttle Service. Shuttle service with Niagara Airbus will be available for all guests. Pick-up location will be at Royal York Hotel’s side entrance on York Street. Presently there’s no details on service frequency but it should be fairly regular, depending on traffic. Event parking is available at The Distillery but hey.. no drinking and driving!
