Bindis and Bangles, A South Asian Baby Shower

South asian baby shower, bindis and banglesOn November 16th a South Asian Baby Shower takes place at the Swagat Banquet Hall in Mississauga and YOU are invited! Bindis and Bangles is going to be a fun South Asian Baby Shower hosted by Maslamommas and presented by Huggies where new and expecting moms will be able to learn, explore and have fun. This is definitely one the mothers, sisters and BFFs will want to join in for so be sure to invite them to this FREE event.

Bindis and Bangles is targeted at pregnant ladies and those with babies 6 months and under. From what I hear the afternoon is going to be filled with fun, prizes and plenty of learning. The event starts at 11 a.m. and goes on until 2 p.m…..and yes folks, you will want every minute to take in the awesome stuff that will be on display, so be on time! This cultural celebration of motherhood is a great way to celebrate your little one and YOU!

It’s not just fun and games at Bindis and Bangles, you also get to learn! Trust me, the learning was what I was most excited about. I remember those initial days where everything is a blur and then at 3 a.m. you end up with a gazillion questions about the simplest things. Like… How long do babies sleep for? Oh wait.. can I squeeze in a yoga class with a newborn? Why do people have doulas? What size diapers do 3 month old babies wear?… those questions came to mind way too easily for me! These and so much more will be answered between the stellar speakers at the event. The host for the evening is the charming National On-Air personality, Karen Johnson and speakers include Baby & prenatal Yoga instructor and actress Rishma Malik, parenting expert Nanny Robina and Canadian Doula, Lisa Caron. This team of experienced ladies will have plenty of advice and funny stories to share with us on November 16th.

This event is ONLY FOR for expecting moms or new moms with babies 6 months or younger. Bring the special women in your life out to this event and enjoy a relaxing afternoon… yes the tiny tots are most welcomed to attend as well. There’s going to be treats, swag bags and plenty of prizes at this South Asian Baby Shower so come ready for a true celebration. Also be sure to follow the tweets at #TimetoHug and join in the conversation. Click here to reserve your FREE ticket before they’re all gone. See you there!
