Fashion Friday | Colouring Away

One of Little Monkey’s favourite activities involves colouring away, for hours at a time. I finally understand why restaurants offer crayons and pencils for kids! It took a while for us to reach this stage but she’s fully into it now and last night before heading to bed, she insisted on colouring a caricature of herself that we had made during the TIFF Festival Street. Having recently attended an event hosted by Indigo, I experienced the joys of colouring as an adult. It’s hard to stay between the lines, especially after a few martinis!! Little Monkey is far better than I am at colouring, that’s for sure! Chapters Indigo has a fabulous collection of adult colouring books that might be entering my X’mas shopping list as I know quite a few who would enjoy the chance of “zoning out” for a few minutes each day.

This weekend is a very busy one for us, involving birthday parties and our very first visit to Wonderland with kids! We’re also going to try our best to pop by a Chapters Indigo location to celebrate National Colouring Day TOMORROW! On September 26th at 10 a.m, all IndigoKids locations will be offering story time hour, and at Indigo, Chapters and Coles locations nation-wide they’ll be giving out colouring sheets to celebrate the art of colouring.

Have a fabulous weekend everyone! I’m loving the Autumn weather!
