Fashion Friday | Todgha Gorge

Thought we’d share a couple pictures of Baby Boy visiting the Todha Gorge during our drive from our over night desert stint (where the hubs rode a camel and will never do it again!) to our GuestToGuest home in Ouarzazette, Morocco. Our drives in Morocco were long ones but luckily it wasn’t very painful as the scenery is stunning. I loved that our tour guide brought us to the Todha Gorge just as the kids were getting antsy (and Little Monkey slightly nauseous). These mini breaks are what makes road trips fun! The Todgha Gorge is a canyon in the eastern part of the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco. Both the Todgha and neighbouring Dades Rivers have carved out cliff-sided canyons/wadis but the last 600 metres of the Todgha Gorge are the most spectacular with a small pebbled path (with a trickle of water) flagged by cliffs on both sides. We weren’t adequately dressed (we had also lost our swimsuits along the way!) but neither was anyone else. This would be such a great spot to let the kids run around in their bathing suits. Baby Boy is still in diapers and made a big show of falling flat on his bum and getting soaked from bum to toe. With an inflated diaper he ran around with much glee throwing rocks.  It was quite hilarious seeing how much he enjoyed the cold water on a hot day!
