Little Monkey turns 4 tomorrow!! Crazy to think we hopped on a flight with a 2 month old 4 years ago!! Our Princess loving gal is into costumes BIG time and those who have been following our Disney adventures will know that Ariel and Rapunzel reins supreme at the moment. We’ve been encouraging her pretend play and I finally had the chance to teach her that long Rapunzel hair isn’t all it’s cut out to be! Little Monkey received a trunk of princess costumes last year for her birthday (compliments of my parents) so this year I went in search of an Ariel one. I found an awesome (read – non slutty) one on Costume Express for under fifteen bucks!The purple and teal mermaid dress has a sequined top and fin-shaped skirt and came with a pink seashell headband. I decided to be funny and grabbed some ” loooooooong hair” to show her how heavy and cumbersome having long hair can be ( it’s working…sorta!).

It’s not Halloween just yet but I can’t wait to share what the hubs and I found on Costume Express for our adults’ Halloween soiree! They have great Top 10 lists if you’re looking for inspiration and I love that they had reasonably priced costumes for everyone, from infant to adults. We grabbed an Olaf costume for Baby Boy but he wants NOTHING to do with clothes these days!
This weekend we’ll be celebrating Little Monkey’s birthday with her Grandparents who are coming down and next weekend is our big Max & Ruby party. I am hoping to get some extra Zzzs this weekend after my insane two weeks but we have plenty of work and prep ahead of us.
