Fashion Friday | OppoSuits

opposuits boysBaby Boy turned 4 this past Wednesday and unlike his sister, he only asked us for one party (phew). We did our usual thing where some kids from the building joined the grandparents for a playdate and dinner session at our place and my mom baked one of her famous cakes. Star Wars was the theme of the day and let me tell you, we now own EVERY single character and then some! Star Wars pretty much puked all over our downtown Toronto condo. Little Monkey had her fancy dress for her party and so Baby Boy also wanted something special.

Disclosure : This post is in partnership with OppoSuits but, as always, opinions are TOTALLY ours!

I had heard of OppoSuits last year when a bunch of guys from work were ordering fun Christmas suits. I had jokingly asked one of the guys to pick one up for me (they have some cute skirt suits for women) but remember thinking how cute they’d be for kids. If you haven’t heard of OppoSuits, definitely check this Canadian company out. They’re creating uber fun and creative suits for those special occasions when a regular suit just won’t do. OppoSuits are extremely outrageous yet stylish suits that will have you winning best dressed at every event you go to!

I was really hoping they’d have a kids Star Wars suit for Baby Boy but unfortunately they did not (they may soon-fingers crossed). What I did find was this Badaboom superheroes themed one and you know he LOVED it. I love that the suits have the adjustable waist bands for kids and are crease resistant. We haven’t had the suit for long so I can’t comment on the durability but the guys from work definitely wore theirs a couple times over the year. I would say the quality is on par with most boys suits you find at a department store. It’s also under $100 bucks for a jacket-pants-tie coombo, so no complaints here at all. As many of you are aware, Baby Boy is on the smaller side and so this size 4 suit was a smidge too big for him but I know he’ll be growing into it come December.

I can’t decide between the Winter Wonderland and Santa Boss for Baby Boy’s Christmas suit this year – any advice? Maybe I’ll get both and put Little Monkey in a suit for Christmas too! They don’t make suits for little girls (yet) but hopefully soon!

Leaving you with some pictures from our birthday celebrations this week. Happy Friday everyone!
