Oemi Baby Bag Giveaway

Oemi Baby bag reviewLong gone are the days of us lugging around a traditional diaper bag stuffed with everything under the sun. HUZZAAH! That said we still need a bag to lug around the various items that the kids need during our travels and city explorations. Being back at work means that I now have my OWN purse for my daily errands and when I was going out with the kids I wasn’t ready to swap back into the boring diaper bag we’ve been using since Little Monkey was born 3.5 years ago.

When it comes to the kids’ bag I still wanted it to be neutral enough incase the hubs has to carry it around on occasion but I also wanted it to be a stylish and LARGE one. Enter Oemi Baby! Sisters, Faye and Vanessa, have married form with function when it comes to their stylish diaper bags. Seriously, no one even knows it’s a diaper bag until I pop it open and start pulling everything from diapers to sparkly stickers out of it! Read on because we’ve got one of these gorgeous bags up for grabs!

Disclosure : I received a complimentary sample but, as always, opinions are totally mine!

Oemi diaper bagWe discovered that we can now ditch the diaper bag and travel in style! On our trip last week through Portugal all I took on board was my Oemi Baby Bag and I managed to fit a whole bunch of items without breaking the bag. I was sure that the straps would break on me the way I was stuffing things into it for our day long excursions but nopes! It’s still intact. Not only is the distressed leather soft but the hardware used is sturdy and durable. No broken hooks during a trip is VERY impressive for me. I was able to fling the bag cross shoulder and baby wear during the day. For our dinners and evening outings I was able to daintily carry it over my shoulder. We lost our Mommy Hook on our SATA flight to Porto so I was thrilled when I realized that the Oemi Baby Bag stretched over the double stroller handle bars.

Oemi bag reviewThe Oemi Baby Bag boasts five interior pockets and offers plenty of room for everything you and and the kids might need while on the go. The clean, sleek exterior has two pockets for sippy cups and bottles and every bag comes complete with a deluxe change pad. Personally I like my large diaper pad and have been carrying it separately all these years because I could never make everything fit in our diaper bag… until now. Dare I mention that the inside liner is stain resistant? Now I can easily wipe away all those cheerios that lie at the bottom of my bag! … err I mean, their bag! You know how some times you need to drop your bag on a filthy floor to deal with some toddler mishap or another? Well, the Oemi Baby Bag has metal rivets at the bottom which means that your bag is  protected from scuffs and marks when being tossed around! This isn’t just a pretty bag because it can handle some abuse, which is what I love most about the Oemi Baby range.

Oemi Baby Bag travelOn this trip I took the following in my bag : change pad stocked with wipes and diapers, toys for each kid, three bottles of juice and three bottles of milk (yes 6 bottles!!), credit cards, my phone, Baby Tylenol, a travel blanket and plenty of snacks to feed these two for ten hours. I like to be prepared! In addition I had a change of clothes for both and our tiny diner tray and My Little Seat. I wasn’t kidding when I said it was a full bag!

I will admit that the bag is a bit heavier than our previous diaper bag but the messenger/cross body wearing ability really helps even out the weight when I’m wearing Baby Boy in the Bjorn. My other missing desire is for a zippered compartment to store small valuables in because I tend to over stuff the elastic pockets and cards and cash can slide out.  Fashionable, functional and durable, this bag is designed to last from the early infant to toddler stages and beyond! Retailing just under $300 the grey and brown Oemi Baby Bags are available online (with free shipping) and at select retailers throughout North America. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of my non kid owning friends decide to enter this contest because the bag is gorgeous and doesn’t look like a diaper bag (though it functions very well as one!).

We’ve got a  Oemi Baby Bag for one lucky North American winner so enter below for a chance to win one! Good luck!

That really is some diaper bag, I love it. It’s quite amazing how much thought went into making it too, brilliant ideas put into action in this bag. 🙂
