Not everyone celebrates Family Day but it’s a great excuse to gather the family around and do something you enjoy. In Canada about two thirds of the population live in provinces where Family Day is celebrated and in most cases this holiday coincides with President’s Day in the U.S. Given that the hub’s birthday also falls around the same time we try to make a quick family winter getaway that focuses on food and drink during this weekend. Last year it was Lake Placid and this year we’re in Ann Arbor.
