I suck at cleaning. It’s true and everyone knows that. My mom has been visiting since last August and I’ve been using that as an excuse to be even lazier, as I know she’ll come by a couple times to clean the place. The Little Monkey has clearly been observing because she was always asking for the broom. So much so that her other grandmother sent her a box of goodies for Easter from Nova Scotia and guess what was in it!
Household chore training began promptly. The kit, which sadly has no name, is absolutely perfect in every way. The height is comfortable for her to play with all day long and the accessories are just adorable. For the most part she only uses the broom and the window cleaner (which she uses as a Swiffer). The dust pan and brush come out on occasion as do the spray bottles. This set is definitely one of her faves at the moment.
Here’s hoping that the Little Monkey takes over the household cleaning duties in the very near future!
