Kid Friendly Restaurants

If you’re visiting Toronto with kids and looking to take a bite out of our culinary scene, you’re in luck! Toronto’s chefs and restaurants are arguably one of the best in the world. We’re lucky to have a myriad of authentic restaurants ranging from hole in the walls to fine dining… and nearly all of them welcome kids! Dining out with kids in tow isn’t hard to do in Toronto.

We’ve been dining in Toronto with babies and toddlers … and we did not stick to McDonalds! We’ve never even been inside of a chuckee cheese ( I don’t even know if that’s how it’s spelled). Though we have picked up a few tips and tricks when it comes to dining out with young children.

Our kids have been at restaurants well past midnight, which is something that caught us off guard in Dublin! As long as food is being served, kids are able to legally be around. Toronto’s breweries are our go-to choice for afternoon hang sessions with friends and kids. However, if you ask our kids they’ll probably say Poop Cafe is their favourite kid friendly restaurant in Toronto!

Whether you’re looking for Toronto restaurants serving up authentic dishes, craft cocktails or a particular ambiance, we know you’ll find inspiration here. Here’s our list of Toronto restaurants we share with friends visiting the city and wondering where to eat in Toronto.
