Travel

Family travel may seem daunting, especially as you plan for that first trip with baby. In fact, we started sharing our stories shortly after Akira was born in 2011 because we were planning a multi-continent trip with a baby who was less than two months old!

Travelling with Baby

Over the years we’ve shared tips for travelling with baby and the importance of family travel. We can tell you the best baby registry ideas for travelling families, what to look for in a suitcase and how to choose the best credit card for travel points.

Full Time Family Travel

Yashy grew up travelling around the world and so it was natural that she convinced Chris to go on a full-time travel trip in 2017. The kids were 3 and 5 years old at that stage and the family travelled through Europe and Morocco. Getting caught in scams, attempting to live 148 days with only two suitcases and missing home were just some of the misadventures from that adventure. Luckily the happy memories outweigh the negative ones! Visiting Croatia and wandering around Berlin with kids are some of them!

Toddler and Tween Travel

Whether you’re looking to visit Yashy’s motherland, Sri Lanka or Dubai, where she grew up, the family shows that those with kids can still explore the world. The Murphys live in Toronto and are your best resource for visiting Toronto with kids but they also travel throughout the U.S with kids and have many family travel tips to share. Be inspired to snowmobile on Fogo Island or take a week long trek in the Sahara desert!

Parents Escape

If you’re looking to escape the kids and head off on a romantic parent’s escape or a momcation, they have plenty of idea for those too!
